Appeal Issued After Rioter Throws Petrol Bomb At Van In L'Derry
Police are renewing their appeal for information after a video posted on social media shows a rioter throwing a petrol bomb at a van in L'Derry.
The incident happened in the Lecky Road area at around 8.30pm on Thursday, 12 July.
The lit petrol bomb hit the windscreen of the van, which was moving, and an onlooker reprimanded the person who threw it.
A PSNI spokesperson described it as a "shocking incident".
Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

A fourth petrol bomb attack on a Londonderry interface has further heightened tensions in the area. The mainly Protestant Fountain estate in central Derry has seen several attacks which have this week led to warnings from both nationalist and unionist politicians that someone could be killed in a confrontation.

Investigation Launches After Two Petrol Bomb Attacks In Dungannon
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following two petrol bomb attacks in the Dungannon area in the early hours of this morning, Thursday 30th May. At approximately 3.25am police received a report of a car on fire in the Spout Road area of Fivemiletown.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following an arson attack at a property in the Loughanhill Park area of Coleraine. Shortly after 1.20am on Monday 22nd August, emergency services were called to reports of a fire after a suspected petrol bomb had been thrown at the front of a property.
