Financial Services Firm To Create Over 300 Jobs In Belfast

A financial services firm is to create over 300 new jobs in Belfast.

FinTrU has announced expansion plans, worth around £38 million, and Invest NI has offered £3.2m of support for the new posts and the Department for the Economy is to invest £2.4m through its Assured Skills Programme.

The roles are to be created over the next five years.

Belfast's Lord Mayor, Councillor Deirdre Hargey, said: "We're focused on attracting more and better jobs to Belfast as part of our Belfast Agenda, and the Belfast Region City Deal that we’re working on. So this news is very welcome indeed.

"It's a great endorsement of our graduate and professional talent, will make a significant contribution to our growing financial services sector and will open up opportunities to graduates and professionals keen to base themselves in Belfast. We wish FinTrU every continued success."

FinTrU provides regulatory resourcing services, including legal, risk, compliance, Know Your Customer (KYC) operations and consultancy, to investment banks and other financial institutions.
