Social Enterprise Scheme Announced By Belfast City Council
Belfast City Council have announced it's latest Go Social programme, which is aimed at those interested in learning more about setting up a social enterprise or cooperative?
The event, taking place on Wednesday, 20 June, offers participants the opportunity to:
• learn new skills and understand the value of idea design and development
• work in teams to add value to your idea
• find out about additional support to get your venture up and running
• gain awareness of social enterprises and cooperatives as business models and understand what is required to progress your venture
• hear first-hand from successful social entrepreneurs and learn about their business models
The workshop is open to people based in the Belfast City Council area and will be held at thinc LAB at the Work West Social Economy Village.
