Woman Left Badly Shaken Following Burglary In Belfast

A woman has been left badly shaken after three masked men broke into her house in Belfast.

The incident happened in the Wyndham Street area at around 8.45pm on Tuesday, 05 June.

The victim was not physically hurt and the intruders made off with her mobile phone.

Detective Constable Totten said: "Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 1354 05/06/2018.

"Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."

Two workers have been left shaken following an armed robbery at an off licence in south Belfast. The incident happened on the Upper Malone Road on Friday, 02 March. Two men, one armed with a claw hammer, demanded money from the till. They made off in the direction of the Taughmonagh estate.

Pensioner Left Badly Shaken Following Burglary In North Belfast
A pensioner has been left very badly shaken following a burglary at his home in north Belfast. The incident happened in Ballycarry Street at around noon on Thursday, 28 July. Two men forced the victim, aged in his 70s, into the kitchen. One of the suspects went upstairs and it is believed a sum of money was stolen.

A woman has been left badly shaken following an armed robbery at a Chinese takeaway in north Belfast. The incident occurred at premises on the Cliftonville Road area at around 12.30am on Saturday. A man armed with a knife threatened staff and made off with a sum of cash.

An elderly woman has been left badly shaken following a distraction burglary in north Belfast. The incident happened in the Prestwick Park area between 2.30pm and 3pm on Tuesday. The woman answered her door to a man who claimed he was there to work on the electrics in her house.
