Two Men Arrested Over Suspicious Activity In Strabane

Two men have been arrested in connection with suspicious activity in Strabane.

The PSNI received reports that two men were acting suspiciously in the Castlegrange Park area just after 8.20am on Tuesday, 05 June.

Officers carried out a search of the area and detained two men, aged 27 and 36.

A red coloured Peugeot car, that had been reported stolen during a creeper style burglary in the Caw Park area of L'Derry during the early hours was also recovered by police.

Inspector Yvonee McManus said: “This is a great example where information from the community has led to arrests of suspects. I would encourage everyone to report suspicious activity to us – no matter how insignificant it may seem, the report of a suspicious vehicle or people acting strangely in your neighbourhood can help us to prevent and detect crime. We would like all of you to help us spread the message."
