Car Significantly Damaged In Larne Arson Attack

Police in Larne are appealing for information after a car was significantly damaged in an arson attack.

A Mitsubishi car was parked in the Inver area and it was set on fire at around 2am on Monday, 04 June.

Detective Sergeant Crothers is appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact detectives in Larne on 101 quoting reference 148 04/06/18.

Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and give people the power to speak up and stop crime.

Car Damaged In Larne Arson Attack
A car has been damaged in an arson attack in Larne. The incident happened in the Ardclinis Gardens area just after 1am on Wednesday, 13 September. The window of a Ford Focus was smashed and flammable liquid was poured inside the vehicle. The car was set on fire and significant damage was caused.

Witnesses Sought Following Arson Attack
Police have appealed for information following an arson attack in the Loranville area of Larne on Friday morning, 3 June. Shortly after 2am, it was reported that a pigeon loft had been set on fire. The fire spread to two nearby houses causing damage to both properties.

Mother and daughter escape injury in gun attack
A woman and her seven-year-old daughter have escaped injury following a gun attack at their home in Derry City. Around four shots were fired into the house in the Bond Street area shortly before 11pm on Sunday, however neither mother or daughter were injured in the attack.

Four Courthouses To Close
Justice Minister David Ford has confirmed the closure of four court Hearing Centres. on the future of five court Hearing Centres. Following a consultation exercise the Minister has decided to close the Hearing Centres at Bangor, Larne, Limavady and Magherafelt and retain the Hearing Centre in Strabane.
