Belfast Road Improvement Scheme Confirmed
A road improvement scheme for Waterloo Park North and South in Belfast is set to begin on Monday, 22 May.
The £166,000 scheme will include resurfacing of the carriageways and reconstruction of footways.
Work will be carried out from Monday to Friday between 09.30am and 4.30pm. Road closures may be necessary during these times however access for residents will be maintained.
Work is expected to be completed by early July, however dates are subject to favourable weather conditions. In the unlikely event that work needs to be extended, the Department will publicise any revisions.
Whilst the works operations and traffic management arrangements have been planned with safety in mind and to keep any inconvenience to a minimum, residents and road users should expect some localised delays and additional time should be allowed for journeys when travelling in the area.
Road users are asked to comply with all temporary traffic restrictions and to drive with care when travelling in the vicinity.
