Drug Mule Michaella McCollum Gives Birth To Twins

Drug mule Michaella McCollum has given birth to twins.

She revealed the news via a social media post on Tuesday, 15 May.

McCollum posted a video on Instagram with her two newborns with the caption: "My little darlings, 1 week today (sic)."

It is not yet known who the father is.

McCollum and Scottish woman Melissa Reid were arrested after attempting to smuggle cocaine worth £1.5 million out of Peru in 2013.

They were jailed for over six years, however they were released after making a deal with Peruvian authorities.

Michaella McCollum Arrives In Ireland
Convicted drug smuggler Michaella McCollum from Co Tyrone has returned to Ireland. The 23-year-old from Dungannon and Melissa Reid from Scotland were arrested in Peru after being caught with £1.5 million worth of cocaine at Lima Airport in August 2013. McCollum was released on parole in March after serving less than half of her sentence.
