Construction Work Starts On £3.5m Development In East Belfast

Construction work has started on 28 new homes in the Dundonald area of east Belfast.

Hagan Homes is developing the new houses in the Comber Road area and the scheme is expected to be completed by Spring 2019.

50 construction jobs are to be created and Phase 1 of the development is scheduled for completion later this year.

Hundreds Of New Homes To Be Developed In Co Down

Price Of New Homes Plummet
The cost of buying a new home in Northern Ireland has fallen by over 7% since last year. The latest NI Housing Bulletin, just published, said that with year-on comparisons the average selling price of National House Building Council (NHBC)-registered new houses sold was £157,300, a decrease of £13,100 (7.7%) on the same quarter in 2010.

Activity still high in NI housing market
House prices are still on the rise in Northern Ireland, according to the latest edition of the Northern Ireland Housing Bulletin, which shows a rise of 3.4% for the first quarter of 2002.
