New Sponsorship Opportunities Available For Belfast Bike Scheme

Belfast City Council have announced new sponsorship opportunities for the Belfast Bike scheme.

Businesses can either get together as a consortium to submit a proposal or make bids individually for branding on the Belfast Bike panels or for branding on the 40 station terminals located in prominent locations across the city.

A bidders' event will be held at Belfast City Council's offices at 9 Adelaide Street on Thursday 26 April, at which businesses can find out more about the different options available.

Belfast's Lord Mayor, Councillor Nuala McAllister, is encouraging businesses large and small to consider backing the scheme: "This is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to support an environmentally-friendly, inexpensive and healthy mode of transport in our city.

"Belfast Bikes has enjoyed a hugely successful three years to date and the popularity and demand for growth speaks volumes. It's great to be able to share this success and give large organisations as well as smaller businesses a chance to get involved in such a positive initiative.

"As a council, we are committed to supporting the scheme and continued sponsorship will further help with its maintenance, operation and potential expansion."
