Family Home Damaged By Arson Attack In Crumlin

A family home has been damaged by an arson attack in Crumlin.

Sinn Féin Councillor Anne Marie Logue hit out at those responsible for the incident, which occurred in the early hours of Saturday, 07 April.

Cllr Logue said victims have lost their family car, suffered fire damage to their home and have been left "severely traumatised".

"The outcome of any arson attack is totally unpredictable," she said.

"It has the potential to take lives, especially when it is carried out in the early hours when the perpetrators know their victims will be fast asleep.

"It is essential that those responsible are apprehended as quickly as possible and made answerable before the courts.

"I would therefore appeal to anyone who has any information relating to this arson attack to contact the police on their non-emergency number 101, or the charity Crimestoppers number 0800 555 111."
