Orange Hall Attacked In Dungannon

Police have launched an investigation after an Orange Hall was attacked in Dungannon.

Paint was thrown at the Orange Hall sometime between 6pm on Saturday, 10 March, and 11am on Sunday, 11 March.

Paint damage was caused to the front of the building and the steps and entrance were also damaged.

DUP Leader Arlene Foster said: "This is a disgraceful attack on a community facility. It is a crime motivated by sectarianism and unfortunately is one of many such attacks sustained against Orange Halls right across Northern Ireland."

Police are treating the attack as a "hate crime" and are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
