Man Due In Court Charged In Connection With Derrylin House Fire

A man is due to appear before Enniskillen Magistrates Court today, Monday 05 March, charged in connection with a fatal fire in Derrylin.

The 27-year-old man is charged with four counts of murder and one count of arson with intent to endanger life.

The charges relate to a fire at a house in the Molly Road area of Derrylin on Tuesday, 27 February, which claimed the lives of Crystal Gossett, her son Edward, aged 16, and her daughter Diane, aged 19. A fourth victim, believed to be an 18 month old baby, was discovered at the scene on Thursday, 01 March.

Security Alert In Enniskillen
A road has been closed in Enniskillen due to a security alert. A number of people have also been evacuated from their homes as police are examining a suspicious vehicle that appears to be abandoned on the Derrylin Road. The A509 Derrylin Road between Derrylin Village and Ballanleck remains closed. No further information is available.

Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A 35-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. The victim, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition after being assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. The suspect is due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates' Court on Monday, 17 October.

Police investigating a fatal house fire in Derrylin, Co Fermanagh, have discovered the body of a child. The discovery brings to four the number of people known to have died following the blaze at a family home on Molly Road on Tuesday 27 February.

Man Charged With Fire Offences In Co Down
A man has been charged with a number of fire offences in Co Down. Reports were made that the suspect was carrying a gun and attempting to stop vehicles on the Comber Road in Killinchy on Wednesday evening, 03 May. A 27-year-old was arrested in connection with the incident and is due to appear before Newtownards Magistrates' Court on Friday, 05 May.
