Man Arrested Over Armed Robbery In West Belfast
A man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in west Belfast.
The robbery happened at a shop on Caffrey Avenue at around 9.30pm on Tuesday, 27 February.
The suspect threatened a member of staff and made off with a sum of cash and cigarettes.
He was arrested on Wednesday, 28 February, and has been detained in police custody.

A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to rob a pharmacy in west Belfast. The incident occurred at premises in the Andersonstown Road area just before 5pm on Thursday, 18 August. The suspect, armed with a knife, entered the chemist and demanded money.

A man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for several robberies in east Belfast. Rodney Archer, aged 71, was sentenced for six robberies, three thefts and one attempted robbery at Belfast Magistrates' Court.

A man is to appear in court today, 18 January, charged on suspicion of robbery in east Belfast. The incident happened at the Co-op on the Beersbridge Road at around 7.45am on Saturday. The man, armed with a knife, entered the store and threatened staff members. He also demanded cash from the till.

Man Arrested Over South Belfast Robbery
A 24-year-old man has been arrested by police investigating an attempted robbery in south Belfast. Police were called to the Ormeau Road at about 11:00 on Thursday, after reports of masked and possibly armed men in the area. Police believe a blue Renault Laguna car with registration YBZ 5390 was used by the men.
