Investigation Launched Following Armed Robbery In West Belfast

An investigation has launched following an armed robbery in west Belfast.

The incident happened at a shop on Suffolk Road at around 8pm on Saturday, 24 February.

Two men, armed with a hammer and a knife, threatened a staff member and demanded money.

The suspects, believed to be in their late teens, made off with a sum of cash.

A third man who was waiting outside also made off on the Glen Road in the direction of Lenadoon.

The man with the hammer was wearing a black North Face jacket with a grey hooded top underneath. The other man with the knife was wearing a dark grey jacket or hooded top zipped right up over his face.

The third suspect was wearing a two-tone grey and black jacket.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A man armed with a handgun has robbed a shop in west Belfast. The incident happened at premises in the Suffolk Road area just after 9.45pm on Monday, 05 February. The man threatened staff and made off with a sum of money and cigarettes. He has been described as medium build and was wearing black jacket and blue denim jeans.

Delivery Driver Robbed In Coleraine
Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Coleraine on Saturday, 04 July. A delivery driver was approached by two men in Oakvale Park at around 2.25am. He was ordered to hand over money and the pair made off in the direction of the playing fields.

A Ukrainian fisherman who died off the coast of Northern Ireland after being swept overboard was not wearing a life jacket and had false papers, according to a report. Nikolai Nedoliz, 35, was in the Northern Ireland under a false name when the accident happened last year.

Armed Robbery In Belfast
Police in Belfast are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery in the vicinity of the Belfast Institute at Tower Street. At around 9.45pm a man and woman outside the college were approached by a man armed with a knife. He demanded money of the man and then grabbed the woman's handbag before pushing her to the ground.
