Belfast Firm To Create 40 New Jobs

A firm based in Belfast is to create 40 new jobs.

Made to Engage, which was formed in 2012 and has offices in Belfast, Dublin and London, will contribute over £1.3million in additional annual salaries to the local economy and will increase employment in the firm to 72 people.

Brian Dolaghan, Invest Northern Ireland's Director of Technology & Services said: "Made to Engage is an award winning digital agency making an important strategic investment which will help it to succeed in new markets.

"The company has benefitted from a range of Invest NI support since it was set up. This has included support for job creation as well as investment in R&D and skills development. We also assisted the company to visit the US early last year which resulted in a partnership deal with ecommerce platform, Avensia Storefront leading to a contract with Eason’s estimated to be worth over £300,000."

Invest NI has offered £240,000 of support towards the new roles.

Payescape Ltd in Ballymoney is creating seven new jobs following investment by a US entrepreneur and support from Invest Northern Ireland. The business, set up in 2006 by John Borland, provides online outsourced payroll services to small and medium sized enterprises. It currently employs six.

Belfast-based Purepipe is investing £250,000 and creating six new jobs as part of plans to boost sales in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland. Invest Northern Ireland has offered the company £45,000 towards its expansion which involves investing in new state-of-the-art specialised pipe manufacturing equipment needed to target new business.

Oak Grove Cabins in L'Derry has announced it is to invest £900,000 to boost its business sales in Great Britain. The firm alsoplans to create 15 new jobs. Based in Maydown Industrial Estate the company designs, manufactures and erects high quality park homes and log cabins.
