Man Arrested After Pipe Bomb Found In North Belfast
A 27-year-old man has been arrested after a pipe bomb was found in north Belfast.
The PSNI received reports that an object had been thrown in the North Queen Street area on Sunday night, 18 February.
Police declared the object as a "viable pipe bomb-type device".
It has been removed for further examination.
The roads have been re-opened.
The suspect has been detained in custody.

Helicopter 'Top Cover' As Bomb Defused
Suburban Glengormley returned to normal yesterday evening after the Army dealt with a pipe bomb in Harmin Park. The PSNI helicopter was overhead of the Newtownabbey district - close to north Belfast - for most of Monday afternoon and some residents were asked to leave their homes, while the examination was carried out.

Viable Pipe Bomb Found In North Belfast
A viable pipe bomb has been found in north Belfast, police have confirmed. Police and army bomb experts discovered the device in the garden of a house in Shore Crescent on Monday. The pipe bomb has been removed for further examination. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Two Viable Pipe Bombs Found In North Belfast
Two viable pipe bombs have been found in the New Lodge area of north Belfast. A security alert was sparked in the Churchill Street area at around 1pm on Wednesday, 22 August. Army bomb disposal experts carried out controlled explosions and they were declared viable devices. The alert has now ended and residents have returned to their homes.

A number of residents were evacuated from their homes after a suspicious object was found in the Fortfield place area on Thursday. Police and army bomb experts attended the scene. The device has been removed for further examination.

Viable Pipe Bomb Discovered In North Belfast
A viable pipe bomb has been discovered during a security alert in north Belfast. Police closed the Lepper Street area for a number of hours on Monday, however it has since been reopened. Sinn Féin councillor JJ Magee condemned those responsible.
