Man Dies Of Suspected Heart Attack At Walking Trail In Co Fermanagh
A man has died after he suffered a suspected heart attack at the Cuilcaigh Mountain trail boardwalk in Co Fermanagh.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Tuesday, 13 February, following a report that a man was suffering from chest pains.
The North West Mountain Rescue Team (NWMRT) were also alerted to the scene.
A spokesperson from NWRMT said: "HM Coastguard had already been informed of situation and Heli R 199 had been tasked and was on route. "The casualty's friends started CPR until Ambulance crew arrived who then took over and continued CPR for 45 mins, before the casualty was pronounced deceased.
"NWMRT then helped with the extraction off the mountain and we would like to offer our condolences and sympathy to the family and friends of the deceased."

A woman has been seriously sexually assaulted in Dungannon, Co Tyrone. The attack happened in the Peatlands Park area on Wednesday afternoon, 27 April. The victim was walking her dog when she was assaulted by a man who fled the scene in a black mountain bike.

Walker Dies After Collapsing At Slieve Donard Summit
A walker has died after collapsing while walking Slieve Donard on Thursday, 13 July. The Mourne Mountain Rescue Team received a call from police following a request to help a walker. They responded alongside an Air Ambulance, however the walker passed away at the scene. The death is not being treated as suspicious.

West Belfast Interface Wall Removed
Sections of a three-metre-high interface wall in west Belfast have been removed to make way for the construction of a new EU-funded shared community space. The Black Mountain Shared Space Project will see a new purpose-built, cross-community facility open in winter 2023 at an interface area between the Ballygomartin and Springfield communities.
