Investigation Launched Following Fatal Crash In Co Antrim

Police have launched an investigation following a fatal crash in Co Antrim.

The collision, between a bus and a car, happened in Randalstown at around 2.45pm on Sunday, 11 February.

A 58-year-old woman died as a result of injuries she sustained in the incident.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Man Dies After Bus Fall In Belfast
Detectives are investigating the death of an 80-year-old man who fell from a bus in Belfast. Police have said that they believe the man was travelling on a 2J Translink Metro bus service at around 11:15am on Friday, 08 November, when he suffered a fall as the bus travelled along Royal Avenue, near it's junction with North Street.

One killed in North Antrim crash
One person has been killed in a road traffic collision on the Drones Road in Armoy, north Antrim. The victim was aged 23 and believed to be from Ballycastle. Police have warned motorists that diversions are currently in place between the Gracehill Road and the Carrowcrin Road. No further details are available at this time.

Two dead and one injured in County Antrim crash
Two people have been killed in a head-on collision in County Antrim. The collision occured on the Ballybogey Road just after 12.35pm on Thursday. One other person has been taken to hospital and is in a critical condition. Police have advised that the Ballybogey Road is closed and that emergency services are at the scene.

Woman Dies In Co Down Road Crash
A woman has died in a three vehicle crash in Co Down. The crash happened on the Belfast Road in Saintfield just before 6pm on Thursday, 06 July. A man is in a stable condition in hospital. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.
