U2 Announce Second Show In Belfast

Irish rockers U2 have announced a second show in Belfast later this year.

They confirmed they will be bringing their eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE tour to the SSE Arena on 27 October.

Tickets sold out after they went on sale on Friday morning, 02 February, and a second date for 28 October was announced by promoters.

Tickets for the second show will go on sale on Friday, 09 February.

The band will also perform in Dublin on the 05, 06, 09 and 10 November.

Investigation Launched Into Burglary In North Belfast
Detectives are appealing for information following a burglary at a flat in the Cliftonville Avenue area of North Belfast. The incident occurred sometime between 10pm on Friday 6th December and 4pm on Saturday 7th December. During the burglary, a sum of money, a wallet, and a set of speakers were stolen.

Man Injured In Belfast City Centre Assault
Detectives are investigating an assault that occurred in Belfast City Centre on Saturday, 7th December. Shortly after 4pm, police received a report that a man had been assaulted by an unknown individual in the High Street/Church Lane area. The victim sustained injuries to his face and body and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Teenagers Threaten Young Girl With Knife In West Belfast
An investigation has been launched into an incident in which a 13-year-old girl was threatened with a knife by three teenage boys in west Belfast. At around 8.15pm on Thursday 5 December, the girl was walking up the steps in the Stewartstown Road park (Páirc Nua Chollann) across from Colin Connect when she was approached by three boys.
