Two Convicted Murderers On The Run In NI

Four Northern Ireland prisoners, including two convicted murderers, are on the run after escaping from prison last month.

The Department of Justice have currently listed the four convicts as "unlawfully at large".

Samuel McKinley has been on the run since 19 January and he was convicted of murder.

Under his "release type" the Department of Justice have stated "licence revoked".

The second man is Thomas Lawrence McCabe and he has also been listed as "licence revoked".

Both murderers are at large from Maghaberry Prison.

Prisoner Sean Tate, 41, has been unlawfully at large from 27 January. He failed to return to HMP Magilligan after being on compassionate temporary release.

The fourth convict "unlawfully at large" is 31-year-old Wesley Brennan, who failed to return to HMP Maghaberry on 12 January following 'home leave'.

Convicted Murderer Unlawfully At Large In NI
A convicted murderer is unlawfully at large in Northern Ireland. Police are seeking help from the public in locating 55-year-old Thomas McCabe who was sentenced to life for murder. Mr McCabe was released from prison on licence, however following a number of breaches his licence was revoked in January 2018.

Convicted Murderer Charged With Being Unlawfully At Large From Prison
A 41-year-old convicted murderer has been charged with being unlawfully at large from Magilligan Prison. Stephen Henry was arrested on Friday, 03 November, after he failed to return to the jail after being granted day release. He is due to appear before Lisburn Magistrates' Court on Monday, 06 November.
