Equality Commission Launches Health Based Workplace Guide
The Equality Commission for Northern Ireland has announced an event for employers on managing employees with cancer in the workplace.
The EQ will use the event to launch its good practice guide and will focus on the practical experiences of employers tackling the issues of managing employees with cancer in the workplace.
The event will also see contributions from business community organisations and trade unions representing employees.
The event, which takes place on Thursday 1st February at Equality House in Belfast, is aimed at employers in the private and public sector, trade unions and employee representatives.
Registration for the event is open now and available throught the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland website.

A former television reporter has received £42,500 by Ulster Television in settlement of cases in which she alleged sex discrimination, victimisation, unfair dismissal and breaches of the Equal Pay Act.
