Woman Critical After Crash In Lurgan
Police have launched an investigation after a woman was critically injured in a collision in Lurgan.
The two-vehicle crash occurred on the Lough Road at around 3.15pm on Sunday, 21 January.
The 58-year-old woman was driving a silver Nissan Micra which collided with a Peugeot van.
A 19-year-old who was a passenger in the car sustained injuries to her head, arm and shoulder.
Elsewhere, a 19-year-old woman who died after she was hit by a van near Toomebridge has been named.
Shannon McQuillan, from the Dunloy area, was with a 21-year-old man on the Moneynick Road at around 3.40am on Saturday when they were hit by a van.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
North Antrim Sinn Féin MLA Philip McGuigan said: "She was at University and had a bright future so to have lost her life so young in these circumstances is hard to take. All our thoughts and prayers are with her family who are obviously devastated.
"We are also thinking and praying for the young fella from Ballymoney who is injured and for his family."
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A woman has died in a one-vehicle crash in Co Fermanagh. The collision happened on the Newbridge Road in Derrylin just after midnight on Saturday. Another woman and a man were taken to hospital to be treated. Their injuries are believed to be serious. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

81-Year-Old Woman Killed In Road Accident
An 81-year-old woman has died after a road accident in County Antrim. The car she was driving was in collision with a lorry on the A26 Lisnevenagh Road between Antrim and Ballymena at 3.30pm on Wednesday. The road, which was closed for a time following the incident, has since reopened.

Man arrested after woman dies in collision
A 61-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal road accident in County Down. A woman, believed to be in her 50s, was hit by a vehicle on the Comber Road in Newtownards at about 9.45pm last night. The victim’s name has not yet been released.
