Cyber 101: Business Skills Bootcamp

Digital Catapult has announced a programme of business skills bootcamps, which will take place across the UK and aims to grow the UK's cyber security sector.

Digital Catapult wants to hear from small and medium-sized cyber security businesses that are interested in receiving mentorship, raising capital and accessing a wider network of public and private customers.

Registrations for Cyber 101 are open now with the Belfast bootcamp taking place on 6 February 2018 - applications close 23 January.

The programme is open to UK cyber security companies with existing product or service offerings linked to the following categories:

• SCADA and ICS

• information risk management

• perimeter security

• network security

• application security

• access control

• cyber industry support services

• training, awareness and education

• incident response and management

• monitoring, detection and analysis

The bootcamps should suit both established start-ups looking to refine their business propositions, and more mature SMEs seeking feedback on their business practices. Successful applicants will get an opportunity to attend an intensive one-day workshop and receive tailored advice on a diverse range of topics linked to establishing and growing a successful cyber security business.

Businesses that successfully complete the workshop will be shortlisted for an annual Demo Day, which will provide a direct opportunity to pitch to potential customers and investors.
