Two People Escape Injury After Arson Attack In Lisburn

A man and woman have escaped injury after the front door of their house was set on fire in Lisburn.

The attack happened in the Ballymacross Hill area between 6am and 6.45am on Sunday, 14 January.

Graffiti was also daubed on the side wall of the property.

Scorch damage was caused to the front door and wall.

The man and woman were left badly shaken.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Teenager shot in paramilitary-style attack
A teenager has been shot in a paramilitary style attack in Newtownards. The 15-year-old youth was asleep in his house in the Westwinds estate when around five masked men dragged him from his house and shot him in the garden. He is currently being treated in hospital with gunshot wounds to his legs.

Shots Fired At House In Coleraine
An investigation has launched after three shots were fired through the window of a house in Coleraine. The attack happened at a property in the Loughanhill Park area at around 11pm on Thursday, 08 March. No-one was injured. Police responded to reports that a man had tried to force entry through the front door using a hammer.
