Banbridge four deny murder charge
Two men and two women have denied charges relating to the murder on New Year's Day of a man in Banbridge.
Appearing at a special sitting of Armagh Magistrates Court on Monday, the four were remanded in custody to appear again on January 29 at Banbridge Magistrates Court.
Rodney Clarke, 34, Ralph Phillips, 40, Joanne McMullen, 20, and Tracey Marshall, 26, all from the Leamount Park area of Banbridge, denied a charge of murder.
The charges relate to the murder of 29-year-old father-of-two, Adrian Thompson whose body was discovered at the rear of a house in Banbridge.
It is thought that a spade may have been used to beat Mr Thompson to death.

Simon Tang: Second Murder Charge Withdrawn
A second murder charge over the killing of Chinese restaurateur Simon Tang in 1996 has been withdrawn. Belfast Magistrates' Court has heard the case against Paul Allen will not proceed. Mr Allen, 39, of Drumhoy Drive, Carrickfergus, faced charges over the murder of Simon Tang. Mr Tang was a married father of two.

19-Year-Old Dies In Collision In Banbridge
Police have issued an appeal for information following a fatal collision in Banbridge, County Down. A 19-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle crash involving a lorry at Foxleigh Fields. The PSNI are investigating the circumstances of the collision and have issued an appeal for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact them.

Strong winds leave 8,000 homes without power
Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) has had engineers working overnight to restore power to over 8,000 homes overnight after strong winds and rain swept across the province. Structural damage was caused to the electricity network as a result of falling trees and flying debris affecting many towns across Counties Down and Antrim.
