Four People 'In Shock' After House Ransacked In East Belfast

A father and his three adult children have been "left in shock" after they were forced to stay in the same room while burglars ransacked a house in east Belfast.

The incident happened at a property in the Dunraven Avenue area at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 09 January.

The four suspects, believed to be aged in their 20s, stole a sum of money and made off from the scene.

One of the burglars has been described as 6ft tall and was wearing a black coat and jeans. He also had a a black scarf over his face and a green, army-style baseball cap with a flat peak. He wore black gloves and was carrying a long, yellow-handled screwdriver.

The PSNI are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Woman 'Shaken' Following Attempted Robbery In East Belfast
A woman has been left shaken after a man is believed to have used a stun gun during an attempted robbery in east Belfast. The incident happened at businesses premises on the Woodstock Road at around 9.15am on Friday, 31 March. Masked men entered the building and demanded the female worker to hand over money.

PSNI Appeal For Missing Girl From East Belfast
Police have issued an appeal to help trace a girl from east Belfast. Caitlyn Jermy was last seen at around 9.15am on Wednesday, 01 March. She is described as being around 5ft 3inches in height, of slim build with long brown hair. Caitlyn was last seen wearing a black duffle coat, peach coloured t-shirt, dark jeans and black trainers.
