Suspicious Device Found In Co Fermanagh

A suspicious device has been found in Co Fermanagh.

The device was discovered in Garrison and Belcoo on Tuesday, 19 December.

Cashel Road has been closed from its junction with Lattone Road and the border and police are at the scene.

Diversions have been put in place.

Sinn Féin MLA for Fermanagh South Tyrone Jemma Dolan said: "The discovery of a suspicious device on the Cashel Road has caused disruption to those families living there.

"We are now into the second day of road closures and while we need to ensure the safety of local people this is the last thing they need in the week before Christmas.

"Those responsible for leaving this device have shown complete disregard for the community.

"Anyone with any information about this should bring it forward to the police."
