Winter Wonderland Cancelled In NI

A Winter Wonderland in Bangor has been cancelled after organisers issued an apology for the event falling short of expectations.

In a statement, the organisers admitted they could not recover from the "negative publicity" as it failed to meet the high standards they aimed to deliver.

The organisers said: "All ticket holders for the period 18-23rd December will be given a full refund and should not travel to the event. Refunds will be processed automatically over the next 28 days, but should anyone wish to get in touch sooner then please email winterwonderlandni@gmail.com including your order number.

"Once again, on behalf of all involved we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment caused."
