Appeal Issued To Help Trace Woman And Three Children

Police have issued an appeal for information to help trace a mother and her three children.

Kelly Lloyd, aged 35, described as being "high risk", is thought to have travelled by boat to Belfast.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "We are urgently trying to locate Kelly Lloyd (35) and her three children.

"They are high risk missing persons from Wales.

"They recently travelled by boat to Belfast but could now be anywhere in Ireland."

Anyone who has seen Ms Lloyd and her children is urged to phone 101 ref 884.

Mother And Children Hit By Car
A mother and her six children have been hit by a car while walking to school in Cloughmills, County Antrim. The group was on the Loughill Road just after 08:30 when the incident occurred. The woman and three children were taken to hospital. It is reported that the mother is in a serious condition and that one child is in a very serious condition.

Motorcyclist dies in collision
A motorcyclist has died following a road traffic collision in Co Antrim this morning. The incident occurred on the Largy Road at about 7am on Monday. The victim, named as Peter McClintock, 35, from The Grange, Toome, was killed when his motorcycle collided with a car as he travelled towards Portglenone.

SDLP Concerned At Number Of Children Being Taken Into Care
A senior member of the SDLP Assembly Group at Stormont has expressed serious concern at the number of children taken into care each year on the recommendation of a social worker. From 2010 to 2013, 2,544 children were taken into care.
