Lisburn woman injured during burglary
Police are appealing for information after a woman was injured during a burglary at her home in Co Antrim this morning.
Three men were involved in the incident which occured in the woman's home in Pond Park, Lisburn at around 5am on Thursday morning. The woman, who is reported to be in her 50's, is being treated in hospital for two fractured cheek bones.
Elsewhere, a teenager has suffered two fractured ankles, a broken arm and multiple puncture wounds after being beaten by a gang armed with iron bars.
The paramilitary style attack occurred in the Westway area of Londonderry at around 10pm on Wednesday.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

Pensioner robbed by hoax caller
Detectives in Carrickfergus have appealed for information relating to a burglary of a pensioner's home yesterday afternoon. A man called to the 80-year-old woman's home at the Shiels building in the Larne Road area of the town, and claimed to be checking for damp.

Police Appeal For Information On North Belfast Burglary
Police have issued an appeal for information following the burglary of an elderly woman's home in north Belfast. Thieves broke into the property on the Old Cave Hill Road at about 8am on Sunday, 29 July. It is understood that the elderly homeowner was in the house at the time of the burglary but was not harmed.

Investigation Launched Following Fatal Crash In Co Antrim
Police have launched an investigation following a fatal crash in Co Antrim. The collision, between a bus and a car, happened in Randalstown at around 2.45pm on Sunday, 11 February. A 58-year-old woman died as a result of injuries she sustained in the incident. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
