Three Men Arrested Over Dissident Republican Activity
Three men have been arrested in connection with dissident republican activity.
Two of the suspects, aged 33 and 43, were detained in L'Derry and the other man, aged 49, was arrested in Dungiven on Thursday, 30 November.
The PSNI also confirmed they are conducting a search of a quarry just outside Dungiven as part of the investigation.
Work Starts On Resurfacing Project In Co Down
Construction work has started on a £300,000 carriageway resurfacing project in Portaferry, Co Down.
The work on the Loughdoo Road is expected to be substantially completed by 22 December.
The scheme will improve the strength and surface quality of the carriageway on the link road between the A2 Cloughey Road and the A20 Deerpark Road.
Temporary traffic signals and diversions have been put in place.
Man Convicted Of Benefit Fraud
A man has been convicted for claiming benefits he was not entitled at Coleraine Magistrates' Court.
Jonathan Hartin claimed Jobseekers Allowance totalling £7,339 while failing to declare living with a partner. He was given a four month custodial sentence suspended for two years.
He is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Department for Communities.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Man Dies In Workplace Accident In Co Armagh
A man has died in a workplace accident in Co Armagh. It is believed the man was crushed by a road roller while a new road surface was being laid on the Bog Road, Forkhill, on Wednesday, 31 May. Police and the Health and Safety Executive have launched an investigation.
