Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Firearm Possession
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of firearm possession in Belfast city centre.
Police received reports that the two males were carrying what is believed to be a firearm in the Castle Street area at around 3pm on Tuesday, 28 November.
A suspected firearm was recovered and two men remain in police custody.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested and a suspected firearm recovered during a police operation in west Belfast on the evening og Sunday, 07 July. Inspector McCullough said: "Officers carried out planned searches at two properties in the Kashmir Road area of the city – where a suspected firearm and other items were seized from one of the addresses.

Man Arrested And Firearm Recovered In L'Derry
A man has been arrested and a suspected firearm recovered by the PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit (TIU) in L'Derry. On Tuesday 21st May, as part of an ongoing operation, officers stopped and searched a vehicle in the Letterkenny Road area of the city at approximately 6.45pm – recovering a suspected firearm and ammunition.

Appeal Over Ballymena Jewellery Robbery
Police have appealed for information following an armed robbery at a jewellery store in Ballymena, County Antrim. Three men, one armed with a suspected firearm, went into the shop on Victoria Street at about 17:00 on Monday evening. The men then threatened members of staff and forced them to lie on the ground.
