Two Armed Men Burgle House In South Belfast
Police are appealing for information after two armed men burgled a house in south Belfast.
The incident happened at a property in the Stranmillis Gardens area in the early hours of Thursday morning, 23 November.
Two women, a man and a child were in the house at the time.
The men, who were armed with knives from the kitchen of the house, stole a number of items including a laptop, a mobile phone and a purse.
They were confronted by one of the women in the house and fled the scene.
Two men, aged 25 and 30, were arrested nearby and a number of items were seized.
They have been detained on suspicion of a number of offences including aggravated burglary and assault on police.
The PSNI are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Road users are advised to plan for potential traffic delays in the south Belfast area on Friday, 15th November due to the UEFA Nations League football match between Northern Ireland and Belarus. The match will take place at Windsor Park, kicking off at 7.45pm, and it is expected that around 18,000 supporters will attend.

Detective Sergeant Faulkner confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who successfully extinguished the blaze.
