Woman Dies After Being Hit By Lorry In Belfast
A woman has died after being struck by a lorry in Belfast city centre.
The incident happened in the Wellwood Street area at around 8am on Tuesday, 21 November.
PSNI Inspector David Gibson said: "I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at approximately 8am this morning, Tuesday, 21 November and may have witnessed this incident to contact police.
"I would also appeal to any motorist who has a dashcam in their vehicle that may have recorded this collision to also contact police.
"We can be contacted on the non-emergency number 101, please quote reference 198 21/11/17."
Elsewhere, a pensioner has died after being hit by a car in Annahilt.
The collision happened on the Glebe Road at around 8.45pm on Tuesday, 21 November.
Police spoke to the driver of the vehicle at the scene.
The PSNI are also appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Young Man Dies In Ballycastle Collision
A young man has died and two others injured in a serious collision in County Antrim. Sean McAlonan, who was in his 20's, lost his life in the crash in Ballycastle shortly before 6am on Sunday 25 November. The three men were travelling in a white Citroen Berlingo van when the incident occurred on the Glenshesk Road.

Police have issued a fresh appeal for information on the murder of Mike Kerr ahead of the first anniversary of his death. Mr Kerr (68) was the victim of a "vicious and cruel attack" at his home in Birch Drive, Bangor sometime between the 17th and 18th November, 2019.

Police are appealing for information to help trace two missing teenagers. Ebony Briggs, 14, and Louis Thompson, 14, were last seen in east Belfast at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. Their families are becoming increasingly concerned for their welfare. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
