Woman Dies Following Crash In Co Down

A woman has died from her injuries following a two-car collision in Co Down.

The crash happened on the Scarva Road in Banbridge on Saturday, 12 November.

The victim, aged in her 70s and from Co Wicklow, was a passenger in one of the vehicles.

She died in hospital on Monday, 13 November, as a result of her injuries.

A woman, aged in her 80s, remains in a serious condition in hospital.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

Woman Arrested Following Crash In Co Down
A 50-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving following a crash in Co Down. A woman, in her 80s, was taken to hospital following the collision on the Scarva Road in Banbridge at around 11.30am on Saturday, 11 November. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Woman Shot In Both Legs In Co Antrim
A woman has been shot in the legs in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim. Two masked men, one believed to be armed with a gun, broke into the victim's house in the Ballyronan Park area on Sunday at approximately 7.45pm. The 47-year-old woman was shot in both legs and is currently being treated in hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Man stabbed in Co Tyrone assault
A man was stabbed and three others injured following an assault in Co Tyrone at the weekend. It is believed that up to eight people tracked the group of three men and one woman as they left a bar in William Street, Dungannon, at around 1.20am on Sunday morning. The group, who were all from Coalisland, were then attacked in Irish Street.
