Man Attacked In West Belfast

Police are appealing for information after a man sustained a number of facial injuries after being attacked in west Belfast.

The assault happened in an alleyway in the Andersonstown Road area at around 10.30pm on Saturday, 28 October.

It is believed up three men attacked the victim.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to get in contact via the 101 system quoting defence 1084 of the 29/10/17. Alternatively you can contact us anonymously via the Crimestoppers 0800 555 111."

As detectives in east Belfast yesterday appealed for information after a postman was attacked, two local politicians have slammed the incident. A PSNI statement said they were probing the assault and robbery close to commercial premises at the Bloomfield Avenue area on Thursday. The PSNI said that it took place shortly before 10.

Appeal After Co Down Home Targeted In Deliberate Attack
Police in Bangor are appealing for information after a property was deliberately attacked in Co Down. The front door of a house was set on fire in the Kearney Gardens area sometime between 9pm on Thursday 31 March and 1am on Friday 01 April. The male resident was not in the property at the time.
