Pensioner Attacked And Robbed In Co Down
A pensioner has been attacked and robbed in Co Down.
Three men confronted the 65-year-old man at his home on the Rowantree Road in Dromore at around 9.15pm on Tuesday, 24 October.
They kicked him in the stomach and groin. They also demanded him to open his safe and stole a silver Rolex watch. The victim was then locked inside the bathroom.
17 ornamental figures were also taken, understood to be a mixture of Coalport and Royal Doulton.
The man climbed out of the bathroom window and raised the alarm.
He was taken to hospital to be treated.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police in County Down have appealed for information after an aggravated burglary in County Down. An 88-year-old woman was left traumatised after she answered a knock at her door at around 8.30pm yesterday, to find a man, who told her that there were a number of youths at the rear of her house.

Witness Appeal After Bathroom Suites Stolen In Co Down
Police are appealing for witnesses after bathroom suites, toilets, sinks and radiators were stolen from new build homes in Co Down. The incident happened at the rear of Boulevard Park in Newcastle between 5pm on Tuesday, 24 January, and 8am on Wednesday, 25 January.

A two-minute silence has been observed across the UK to mark Armistice Day and commemorate the end of the first world war on this day in 1918. The occasion was marked across NI at 11am to remember servicemen and women who died in battle. Wreath-laying ceremonies have also taken place at war memorials across the province.

Body Found In Woodland
A body has been found in Ballymena, Co Antrim, police have said. The discovery was made in a woodland area, near to the Ecos centre on Monday afternoon. Police do not believe the death to be suspicious. No formal identification has yet taken place.

Police in County Antrim have appealed for information following the burglary of an elderly woman yesterday afternoon. The incident happened at the pensioner's home in the Fairhill Road area of Newtownabbey, when a man called to the woman's home and offered to carry out maintenance work on the property.
