Global Entrepreneurship Week Events Announced
Belfast City Council has announced a range of free events to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week.
Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is back from Monday 13 November to Sunday 19 November 2017 and will see the council working with key organisations across the city to deliver a bigger and better schedule of events in order to inspire new and existing entrepreneurs to take their business to the next level.
This year's theme is 'Belfast – The place to make your first million' and the event aims to encourage the next generation of entrepreneurs to come along, get involved and use this opportunity to make Belfast the place to make their first million.
Highlights include:
One stop shop for business support
Meet all of the local organisations that will support you on your way to starting a business. You can also hear from local businesses who have received help from the business support ecosystem.

The workshop will provide an overview of the context of Facilities Management for Social Enterprises.
Participants will have the opportunity to identify what they and others need to know about facilities management. You will hear from private and social entrepreneurs involved in Facilities Management and identify future training needs.
Go Social: How to get the best out of social media
This social media session will help you discover what's right for your organisation, how to tell your story, engage your audience and build followers.

This session hosted in east Belfast provides an opportunity to hear about the exciting plans for the city over the next decade.
It will highlight the emerging entrepreneurial opportunities available and provide advice on taking that leap into transforming an idea into reality.
It also provides a networking opportunities as well as showcasing exhibitors from local support organisations.
