Police Appeal After Man Seen 'Acting Erratically' In Bangor

Police are urging the public to be vigilant after a man was seen "acting erratically" in Bangor, Co Down.

The male was walking out in front of traffic and trying to stop cars on the main Belfast Road out of Bangor at around 3pm on Monday, 23 October.

A police spokesperson said: "Descriptions varied somewhat but on our arrival a male in his 30s ran off towards Woodgreen area. We are not sure whether this was somebody messing or more mental health concern so keep an eye either way. It does not take much to disrupt traffic on this busy stretch of road and we would not like to see anyone hurt."
