Teenager Critical Following Glengormley Collision

A teenager is in a critical condition in hospital after he was struck by a car in Glengormley, Co Antrim.

The incident occurred on the Ballyclare Road shortly before 5pm on Wednesday, 18 October.

The crash involved a silver Audi TT.

The boy was treated by paramedics at the scene and was taken to hospital.

A woman was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and causing grevious bodily harm.

She has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Teenager Critical Following Antrim Collision
A teenager is in a critical condition in hospital after being hit by a car in Antrim. A five-year-old boy was also injured in the collision which happened on the Belfast Road at around 5.30pm on Monday, 03 September. The 15-year-old girl was struck by a Suzuki Swift and the boy sustained a number of fractures and remains in hospital.

Man Critical After Being Hit By Car In Co Tyrone
A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being struck by a car in Co Tyrone. The accident happened on the Strabane Road in Newtownstewart on Monday, 24 October. He is currently in intensive care at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. The road has been reopened.

Woman Critical Following Serious Road Crash In Co Down
A woman is in a critical condition in hospital following a serious road crash in Co Down. The collision occurred on the A1 between Dromore and Hillsborough at around 3.30am on Sunday, 09 October. She is currently being treated at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. The road has been closed in both directions.

£100 million boost for Ulster Hospital
Health Minister Shaun Woodward has announced £100 million for the first phase of investment for the Ulster Hospital. This money will provide seven new theatres, a 16-bed critical care unit, new laboratories and a sterile services department. In addition, a new state-of-the-art renal unit and maternity unit are currently being built.

Three people being questioned about murder
Detectives are questioning two men and one woman about the murder of a man in his thirties in a stabbing incident in County Antrim. Trevor Halliday, from the Ravenhill area in Belfast, was stabbed in Pembroke Court, Glengormley at around 02:30am on Sunday morning.
