Woman Dies Following Crash Outside Ballymena

A woman, aged in her 60s, has died following a collision just outside Ballymena last week.

Jean Wilkinson was the passenger in a Skoda Fabia that collided with a Honda Civic on the Lisnevenagh Road A26 dual carriageway on Tuesday, 10 October.

The driver and another passenger were treated in hospital for minor injuries.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "I'm appealing to anyone who was on the Lisnevenagh Road around the time of the collision and witnessed what occurred to get in touch with us.

"We're also appealing to anyone who was travelling on the road at the time and may have Dash Cam footage they believe could assist with our investigation to contact police in Ballymena on the non emergency number 101, quoting reference 1004 10/10/17."

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
A woman in her 30s has been killed in a road crash in Portadown, Co Armagh. The woman was hit by a car as she was walking on the side of the Moy Road at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for a short time but it has been reopened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

Road Closed In Ballymena Following Serious Road Collision
A road has been closed following a serious collision in Ballymena, Co Antrim. The one vehicle crash occurred on the Creebilly Road in the early hours of Monday morning, 24 October. The road has been closed between the Deerfin Road and the Kennelbridge Road.
