Police Seize Cocaine Worth £30,000 In Newry

A man has been arrested after police seized cocaine worth £30,000 in Newry.

The 29-year-old suspect has been charged with a number of drugs offences.

He is accused of possession of a Class A drug, possession with intent to supply, and possession of criminal property.

He is to appear before Newry Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 08 November.

Five Men Charged Over Gun Attack In Newry
Five men have been charged in connection with a gun attack in Newry. Shots were fired at a house in the Altmore Gardens area shortly before 9.30pm on Monday, 26 March. Damage was caused to the front window of the house, however no-one was injured.

Man Charged With Manslaughter
A man has been charged with manslaughter following the death of a 51-year-old man in Newry. The man died in the Dublin Road area on Wednesday, 17 January. The 32-year-old suspect has also been charged with drugs offences including possession of heroin with intent to supply. He is due to appear before Newry Magistrates Court on Thursday, 18 January.
