Murder Investigation Launched In Larne
Police have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a man;s body in Larne.
The body of Laurence Shaw was found at around 1.30pm on Monday, 09 October, in the Hillmount Gardens area in the Seacourt estate.
A 39-year-old man was arrested during the early hours of tuesday morning, 10 October, on suspicion of attempted murder.

Police in Belfast are investigating the attempted murder of a 22-year-old Catholic man in the west of the city. The incident police say, which happened at around 3.15am on Thursday 11th October, is believed to be sectarian.

Attempted Murder Investigation Launches In Ballygowan
An attempted murder investigation has been launched after shotgun pellets were fired into a house in Ballygowan on Saturday evening, 22 June. Police received a report that at around 11pm, a number of shotgun pellets were fired through the window of a house in the Brae Grove area, striking a woman in the head and her back.

Police have launched an attempted murder investigation following the discovery of a pipe bomb in north Belfast on Tuesday, 09 August. The "viable device" was found in the North Queen Street area. Police believe it was most likely thrown at a passing PSNI vehicle the night before.
