Man 'Badly Shaken' After Being Forced Into A Van In West Belfast

A man has been left "badly shaken" after he was forced into the back of a van in west Belfast.

The incident happened in the Oakman Street/Iris Drive area just after 10pm Wednesday, 20 September.

The victim, aged in his 20s, was not seriously injured, however he was left badly shaken.

Detective Inspector Paul Rowland said he is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone who was in the area last night and noticed a white van, to contact detectives in Criminal Investigation Branch at Musgrave Police Station quoting reference number 61 of 21/09/17.

A number of staff members have been left badly shaken following a robbery at an off licence in north Belfast. The incident happened on North Queen Street at around 9.50pm on Friday. Three men entered the premises and threatened staff before making off with cigarettes and a sum of cash.

A 60-year-old woman was left badly shaken following a car hijacking in Belfast. The incident happened at the Northside Park and Ride Carpark at around 5pm On Wednesday, 13 July. Two men entered the woman's car while she was in it and physically took the car keys from her. She was badly shaken, however she was not injured.

An elderly woman has been left badly shaken following a distraction burglary in north Belfast. The incident happened in the Prestwick Park area between 2.30pm and 3pm on Tuesday. The woman answered her door to a man who claimed he was there to work on the electrics in her house.
