Cyclist Attacked In Belfast City Centre

A cyclist has been attacked and had his bicycle stolen in Belfast city centre.

The incident happened in the Royal Avenue area on Sunday, 17 September.

A man was found bleeding from the head after being assaulted. He was taken to hospital to be treated.

Police believe he had been on a bike and was attacked by a man who was with a woman who stole the bicycle.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Arrests And Suspected Stolen Good Seized In L'Derry
Two men have been arrested and a quantity of suspected stolen goods have been seized by officers from the City Centre Neighbourhood Team in L'Derry. A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of six counts of theft and he remains in police custody at this time.

Police are appealing for information after suspected stolen goods were recovered from a southern registered white Transit van on the M1 in Belfast. Around 30 bottles of whiskey and vodka were found and police are seeking to find where they came from.

Police attacked as they chase stolen car
Police in west Belfast have been attacked by youths as they chased a stolen vehicle yesterday afternoon. It was reported that two men had stolen a blue coloured Volkswagen Polo from Sorella Street in the west of the city just before 1pm and tried to take another vehicle in the Townsend Street area.

Ammunition Found During West Belfast Security Alert
A quantity of ammunition has been found during a security alert in west Belfast. Suspected stolen artwork was also discovered at a property in the St Mary's Gardens area on Thursday, 14 September. Detectives from Musgrave Criminal Investigation Branch have launched an investigation. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Vicious Attack Leaves Woman With Brain Bleed
A woman has been left with serious injuries in hospital after she was brutally attacked last weekend. Police said the female was walking in west Belfast early on Saturday 19 January when three unknown females carried out the unprovoked attack.
