Investigation Launch After Sudden Death Of Child In L'Derry
Police have launched an investigation following the sudden death of a child in Co L'Derry.
The death was reported just after 10am on Sunday, 17 September.
The body was found in the Bogside area.
A post mortem is to take place to determine the cause of death.
No further detail have been released.

Police have launched an investigation following the sudden death of a man in Co L'Derry. The 56-year-old was found injured in the communal stairway of an apartment block in Iniscarn Crescent on Monday, 29 January. He was taken to hospital to be treated, however he died from his injuries.

An investigation has launched following the sudden death of a man in L'Derry. The body of Conall Kerrigan, 25, was discovered in the Bank Place area on Sunday night. Mr Kerrigan is believed to have left the Metro Bar at around 2am on Sunday morning. Police are treating the death as "unexplained".

A leading local charity has expressed concern that measures to combat sudden cardiac deaths will be introduced in England but not in Northern Ireland. The Health Secretary, Dr John Reid, recently announced that screening will be introduced for close family members of sudden cardiac death syndrome victims in England.

The grim death toll on NI roads has risen again with news that an 18-year-old woman has passed away in hospital after a weekend car crash in Co Fermanagh. She was named this morning as Shelley Sturgeon from Menapian Way in Enniskillen.

A woman has been arrested following the sudden death of a man in Magherafelt. A 46-year-old man died in L'Derry in the early hours of Tuesday, 05 December. Police are treating the death as suspicious. A 32-year-old woman has been arrested and is assisting police with their enquiries.
