Police Appeal Following Discovery Of Firearms And Ammunition In Larne
Police are appealing for information following the discovery of two suspected firearms and ammunition in Larne.
The items were recovered in the Drumahoe Gardens area of Millbrook on Tuesday, 12 September.
Detective Sergeant Peter Crothers said: "Anyone who has information which may help with police enquiries to contact Detectives at Larne Criminal Investigation Branch on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 963 12/09/17.
"Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."

Police have launched an investigation following an armed robbery at a takeaway in Co Antrim. The incident happened at premises on the Upper Cairncastle Road in Larne at around 1.30pm on Wednesday. A man, armed with a suspected gun, entered the shop and made off with a sum of cash.

Witnesses Sought Following Arson Attack
Police have appealed for information following an arson attack in the Loranville area of Larne on Friday morning, 3 June. Shortly after 2am, it was reported that a pigeon loft had been set on fire. The fire spread to two nearby houses causing damage to both properties.

A man entered the premises at around 2.30pm and demanded money. He made off along Main Street empty-handed.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a burglary in the Kings Lane area of Limavady on Wednesday 18th January.
