Graduates - Considering a career in Management?

It can be a frustrating situation. You long for the opportunity to get the job of your dreams, yet employers are not willing to give you the opportunity as you do not have the necessary experience.

Many employers are now looking for that ‘little extra’ from graduates, the experience, skill and credibility that make you different from the many other graduates applying for the job.

So what is the answer? For graduates considering a longer term career in management the Premiere2 programme may be an option.

Premiere2 is an intensive programme aimed at improving participant’s employability in management. Delivered by Parity Training and supported by the Department for Employment and Learning under its ‘Managing your future’ initiative, the programme aims to provide HND and Degree graduates with enhanced management skills using a combination of an initial training period and challenging project work with a local company.

Graduates participating on the programme have the opportunity of completing projects in business areas including Marketing, Human Resources, Enterprise, Operations and Finance.

Qualifications available on the programme include the Diploma in Management and the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)

Consultants and Project Mentors provide ongoing support to participants throughout the programme.

The final intake for the 2003/04 programme commences on January 12th and a limited number of places are still available.

Additional information on the programme and details on how to apply are available on the Premiere2 website www.premiereprogramme.com or alternatively contact Kathy on 90260409.
