Women in Business Announce Power Of 4
Women in Business have announced the return of their successful Power of 4 event.
Power of 4 is a business start up programme for women run by women, offering 15 females a chance to be part of the six-month programme which provides training, mentoring, role model support and builds a peer network.
The structure is as follows:
• 4 full days training, once per week for four weeks, each delivered by a specialist self-employed consultant/trainer, incorporating specialist speakers. Provisional dates set for Tuesdays in April/May.
• 4 evening networking sessions facilitated with the support of four role model mentors, delivered once per month for four months commencing once date agreed by participants
• 4 x 121 mentoring sessions delivered by a business mentor at a time and place to you, covering a range of topics – finance, marketing, personal issues, action planning, product development.
Additional elements include:
• A Facebook private forum where everyone can discuss their business idea and build friendship and contacts
• Regular contact through email, phone, social media by the Project Coordinator
• Additional workshops considered dependent on need
• Action plans produced by each participant and supported where needed by their mentor
• A final celebration event in Spring 2017 with an opportunity for participants to pitch for a small bursary
• An opportunity to meet and connect with the Power of 4 Alumni – the graduates of the last 2 programmes.
Power of 4 is for anyone who has an idea but has not started trading or is very early stage trading.
